What is DLCS

Dermpath Lab of Central States (DLCS) is a laboratory that specializes in dermatopathology or "pathology of the skin". When your doctor removes a biopsy from your skin, it is sent to a laboratory to be processed and diagnosed. At DLCS, all of our physicians are board-certified in dermatopathology. Dermatopathologists have specific training in both pathology and dermatology and are more experienced in diagnosing disorders of the skin than general pathologists. Close communication between your physician and our dermatopathologists is essential for the best in patient care.

DLCS is an independent laboratory located in Dayton, Ohio. DLCS is accredited annually by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and is CLIA certified.
